Breakfast Bowl
This was my first dish here and it was amazing! I will always get this dish. it's full of flavor. the smoked brisket pieces were beyond flavorful. the queso with it adds the BANG.

Friday-Shrimp Po boy
The Shrimp Po boy called me back again. For sure, I will go back for the fried apple pie and ice cream. It's worth it every time.

Chicken Fried Steak
My doctor and his nurse recommended I try y'all and I am so glad. I've stopped there to eat, every time I make the 2 hour drive to his office in Madison! I constantly recommend y'all to friends and family. The chicken fried steak with Rotel gravy was one of the best meals I've ever had and I loved the Brussels spouts! Amazing sweet tea. I've had multiple meals there since, but that was my first and made me keep coming back! Love the Twisted Turnip!
Turnip Bowl
OMG! I guarantee that's the first thing you'll say when you taste it. Had it for the first time when I went 4 weeks ago and I keep coming back every week! The combination is crispy, never soggy chicken tenders, sweet and tangy turnip greens, red skin hearty potatoes, all topped with the best tomato gravy Ive ever had. Oh! And that fluffy cornbread! Woo wee!
Vroom Vroom Shrimp
shrimp tacos are fabulous, everything i've tried there has been great. The staff is so attentive and the owners are the nicest people ever. Thank you Claire and AJ!
Friday-Shrimp Po boy
Our work family enjoyed lunch today at Twisted Turnip. We had a variety of items such as street tacos, chicken strips and fries, shrimp poboy and a veggie plate. We were greeted when we entered the building with a friendly smile and hello from the staff. Our orders arrived promptly and our food was enjoyed by all. We also enjoyed the fried apple pies with ice cream. We will be visiting Twisted Turnip again soon!
