This is my favorite salad at the Turnip! The dried cherries and goat cheese are a unique addition that makes this salad pop.
Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders
These some of the best tenders I've ever had. It comes with two side. The tenders are just the right size and were hot upon pickup.
Friday-Shrimp Po boy
Grilled shrimp were delicious. A little light in dressing for quantity of bun, but really tasty

Hard to find true Southern cuisine locally but Twisted Turnip is where it's at.
Brisket Melt
Excellent sandwich! Make sure to have some extra napkins ready because it's a bit messy. I was surprised to find pickles on it, which I don't mind, but my husband did. Still loved every bite!
Breakfast Bowl
This is easily the best breakfast item in Gluckstadt. The Smokey brisket is simply amazing. If you are looking for breakfast, don't bother with fast food when you can have REAL food!
Chicken Fried Steak
Easily my favorite dish on the menu! Covered in the queso gravy, and I am in heaven.
Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders
Some of the best homemade chicken tenders around especially for the price! Pairs well with the okra fries!
